About Us
Our Faculty provides a Suzuki music education for violin and viola students of all ages. Founded by Christine Collins-Davis, the Arlington Suzuki Academy believes that all children can learn how to play music given a nurturing and supportive environment.

What is the Suzuki Method
Developed by Dr. Suzuki, this method teaches music in the same way children develop native language acquisition. This way of teaching and learning utilizes parental involvement in lessons and in practice at home, nurturing feedback and high levels of repetition.

“Mrs.Collins-Davis’ attention to detail, clear instruction, methodical and individual approach to instructing my son has made learning the violin a joy. She uses creativity when met with learning differences. My son recognizes the value of having Mrs.Collins-Davis as his instructor and often voices how he can measurably notice his improvement when he has been in lessons with her and lack of growth when he has not trained with her. Her high expectations and ability to encourage and direct my son has enabled him to consistently improve his playing. We are so grateful to have the opportunity to practice with her.”

Ms. Collins-Davis is such a wonderful teacher! She is patient and kind with her students and truly cares for them and their music education. She has high expectations for her students, and works so hard with each one to meet their individual goals. I cannot recommend her highly enough if you are looking for Suzuki Strings teacher.

“Mrs. Collins-Davis is amazing, according to my twelve-year-old. She is patient and understanding, but also knows when some tough love is needed. She’s very knowledgeable of the Suzuki Method and the importance of practicing everyday you eat. My kids have learned not just the violin, but life skills through her teaching.”
